When our pricey old dryer conked out, I was fed up with poorly made expensive appliances. I did my research, and bought the Amana. It is simple to use, works well, and is engineered well. The large lighted door is much more user friendly than our old dryer. Much better lint filter too.

I like the convenience of the left-opening door. It's out of the way, making it much easier to get the clothes out. The only drawback I've found so far is that it's difficult to get the lint screen completely cleared. The best way I've found is to use the used dryer sheet to gather the lint.
