My Son in law bought this for us. every since we have had it we can not set the timer to different loads. Timer handle just spins. It just works in one mode no matter what we do.

Slow

While this washer does get my clothes clean and the design is clean and simple, it is ridiculously slow and does not always get my clothes spun dry adequately. In addition, the locking mechanism may be handy if you have small children, but I'm a busy 50 something who doesn't have time to mess around trying to unlock and relock (if I miss something) and hope that it continues where it left off. It will be just my luck that it wears like a tank and I'll be stuck with it for the next 50 years.

Destroys clothing

It twists and wrings your clothes, towels, sheets. Tears them up. Very harsh.

Delicate cycle

I do not recommend this washer for delicate or hand washables. All of my delicates have been over-wrung; the spin cycle is very harsh. Looking for a better model.

This machine is a real workhorse! gets my husband's hunting and work clothes clean - slick as a whistle he says. Had a front loading washer and hated it. Never got the clothes clean like this simple machine. The spin is fantastic wich cuts the dryer time in half too.
